About us

Moonlight Studio was born from a love of photography and a desire to help women see themselves fully, without masks or filters. Not through trends, tricks, or borrowed definitions of beauty, but through honesty, attention, and the space to simply be.

Each session is approached with intention and care. Nothing is forced. Nothing is overproduced. You aren’t asked to become someone else or fit a mold. Instead, you’re invited to settle in, breathe, and be seen exactly as you are.

This work exists in the tension between softness and strength. Every curve, line, and expression is honored. The goal isn’t perfection—it’s life, depth, and dimension.

These images aren’t about shrinking yourself or performing confidence. They’re about showing up, taking your space, and witnessing the story your body already holds—rich, real, and undeniably yours.

Come as you are. Our work is simply to reflect back what’s already shining inside you.

Erika is the woman behind the lens at Moonlight Studio. Photographer. Storyteller. Mother. Dreamer. Keeper of light.

Born in Peru and calling Long Island home, Erika’s journey with photography began with motherhood. Capturing her daughter’s early years shifted the way she saw being, memory, and the quiet, transformative power of being truly witnessed. What started as family portraits evolved into a practice of noticing, honoring, and preserving the stories that make us whole.

Over time, Erika was drawn to boudoir photography—not as a trend, but as a way to honor the body and the layers of stories it carries. Her work invites reconnection, softening, and a return to oneself, creating a space where women can feel seen without judgment or expectation.

A profound personal awakening reshaped how Erika engages with the body, with photography, and with how we inhabit ourselves. That clarity became the foundation of Moonlight Studio—a sanctuary designed to feel safe, unhurried, and uncompromisingly real, where beauty is recognized, not performed.

Erika believes every body holds power, every story deserves reverence, and nothing about a person needs fixing. Her work is about reflection, remembrance, and helping others witness the fullness of who they already are.
