Erika is the woman behind the lens at Moonlight Studio. Photographer. Storyteller. Mother. Dreamer. Keeper of light.

Born in Peru and calling Long Island home, Erika’s journey with photography began with motherhood. Capturing her daughter’s early years shifted the way she saw being, memory, and the quiet, transformative power of being truly witnessed. What started as family portraits evolved into a practice of noticing, honoring, and preserving the stories that make us whole.

Over time, Erika was drawn to boudoir photography—not as a trend, but as a way to honor the body and the layers of stories it carries. Her work invites reconnection, softening, and a return to oneself, creating a space where women can feel seen without judgment or expectation.

A profound personal awakening reshaped how Erika engages with the body, with photography, and with how we inhabit ourselves. That clarity became the foundation of Moonlight Studio—a sanctuary designed to feel safe, unhurried, and uncompromisingly real, where beauty is recognized, not performed.
